We provide our clients with our cost-effective designed solutions through vertical walls with concrete facing panels where there is only a small construction corridor available or where a reinforced earth structure with a vertical face in metropolitan locations is required.
These buildings frequently serve as retaining walls, abutments, and wing walls in congested metropolitan areas to support or facilitate infrastructure construction. Construction of crusher and hopper walls in mines using our MacRES® system supports enormous weights.
Our reinforced soil system consists of a fascia made of concrete, with polymeric geostrips serving as soil reinforcement. During construction, these soil reinforcements are positioned horizontally within the compacted backfill, strengthening it. These geostrips’ strength and durability allow the technology to be used for tall walls and mining buildings where loads may be extremely high.
Special geostrips with a “all-polymer” connection to the concrete fascia panel can be provided. This corrosion-free connection is best suited in harsh environments, such as those where road de-icing salts or recycled aggregate backfill are employed.
