Reinforcement

Over time, the Gewi System has been improved and developed.

For practically any purpose, a wide variety of products are currently offered, including:

  • In concrete structures
  • As reinforcement for reinforced concrete
  • In geotechnics as Soil Nails, Micropiles, Bar Anchors, Rock Bolts
How the Reinforcement systems work?

Threadbars and nuts are made for on-site use, and they function even when they are quite dirty because to the coarse and incredibly durable unique Thread.

Bars can be cut and bent to conventional reinforcement shape codes, and the steel grade is the same as that of B500B reinforcing steels.

On difficult job locations, the rolled-on thread on both sides of the hot-rolled threadbar creates a left-hand thread that runs the whole length of the bar. In extensively reinforced structural sections where the spacing between individual reinforcing bars can be problematic, the Reinforment System offers clear advantages. Additionally, it produces exceptional outcomes in the final anchorage region.

Using anchor pieces and plate anchorages, reinforcing bar anchor lengths can be minimised, resulting in a significant reduction in the amount of steel and concrete required. For dynamic loadings, a swaged rebar connection coupler is available.

Features:

Reinforcement

  • rolled in a hot process
  • similar to B 500 reinforcing steels in terms of steel grade
  • For dynamic loadings, swaged rebar connector coupler system
  • To standard reinforcement shape codes, cut and bend

High Reinforcement

  • Stainless steel (670/800 MPa)
  • rolled in a hot process
  • thread pitch of d/3 on the right hand side.
  • suitable couplers and nuts
