Meshes

Meshes shield ecosystems and slopes from rockfall.

Meshes are used as drape meshes with rock bolts and soil nails to protect slopes.

Meshes are used in:
  • Protecting the slope
  • Protection of the environment
  • Rockfall avoidance
How it works?
  • Loads can be borne with a minimum amount of strain or elongation thanks to the properties of the wire and the shape of meshes.
  • Mesh facing systems can distribute load effectively between rock bolts or dirt nails because to the lower strain characteristics of mesh.
  • Meshes contain less steel per square metre than the mild steel option due to the added strength provided by high-tensile steel.
Features:
  • Flexible mesh to follow the face’s contours
  • wire made of high-tensile steel
  • diamond-grid pattern
  • a selection of protective coatings
  • Options for integrated erosion mats
  • utilised in conjunction with rockbolts and dirt nails
