Steel wire mesh that is double-twisted and hexagonally woven is used to create gabions, which are cages. Our gabions are constructed at the project site after being delivered flat-packed.

These modular modules have a wide range of applications and are often utilised to create monolithic, flexible, permeable structures including retaining walls, channel linings, hydraulic control structures, and erosion protection. They are also being used more and more in architectural applications.

High-quality steel wire that has been highly galvanised is used to make gabion baskets. For gabions that will be utilised in more hostile conditions or where a longer design life is needed, a second protective polymeric coating is also added. All mesh panel edges are selvedged with a wire that is larger in diameter to strengthen the construction.

Our facilities all around the world produce our gabions. Numerous of our factories have ISO 9001-certified management and production systems.

The gabion mesh is manufactured in a few specific facilities in accordance with CPR- Construction Product Regulation 305/2011 and is CE-marked in accordance with ETA-15/0219. The management and production system has received ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications (related to the environmental management system).
